BC Online Rules and Cascades Casino Kamloops
Internet gambling in British Columbia follows separate rules: the one legal site is PlayNow.com, operated by BCLC. This guide carries paid links too, and plain answers on both subjects follow below.

Does the province have its own gambling site?
BC's only legal site for online gambling is PlayNow.com, which the province operates through BCLC. In British Columbia, gambling is permitted only when run by the provincial government. Every commercial form, from casinos to internet play, is handled by BCLC.
Cascades Casino Kamloops does not have an online casino of its own. It is a BCLC casino at 1555 Versatile Drive, operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. Gambling oversight falls to the regulator, the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO), which replaced the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch on April 13, 2026.
How does this guide make money?
This guide makes money through paid links, found only on the home page. Each of the three carries an Ad tag: a menu button, a block after the first section and another block close to the bottom of the page. Every one leads to the same private online casino partner, which pays a commission to the guide. Because that partner may be replaced, its name is not given.
Its site is not PlayNow, and the province of British Columbia neither runs nor permits it. It has no link to BCLC, the IGCO, Gateway Casinos or Cascades Casino Kamloops. Links to the casino, the province and help services are never paid.
Is the partner site part of Game Break?
No, Game Break reaches only PlayNow.com and gaming facilities in BC. It is BCLC's voluntary self-exclusion program, which lets a person bar themselves from play. A single agreement applies to PlayNow.com as well as BC gaming facilities. Neither Game Break nor PlayNow limits extend to the partner site behind the Ad links, so a BC resident playing there gets no provincial protections.
Gambling Support BC helps any BC resident all the same, including people affected by someone else's gambling. Its toll-free line, 1-888-795-6111, is answered day and night, every day of the week.
